Cintia and Attila’s Wedding Ceremony at Nest Cottage in Balatonszőlős | Wedding Celebrant & Coordination

Cintia and Attila’s Wedding Ceremony at Nest Cottage in Balatonszőlős | Wedding Celebrant & Coordination

Cintia and Attila’s wedding ceremony took place at Nest Cottage in Balatonszőlős, on what happened to be one of the hottest days of the year.

The unique atmosphere of the Balaton Uplands and the beautiful surroundings of the venue provided the perfect setting for the personal, joyful and emotional ceremony I created for them.

At this wedding, I had the pleasure of being by their side in two roles: they entrusted me with their day both as their wedding celebrant and wedding coordinator.

In this post, I will focus primarily on their ceremony, as the coordination and management of their entire wedding day deserves a story of its own.

From a Workplace Encounter to Their Wedding

Cintia and Attila’s story began in 2022 at work. They were part of the same large corporate group, although they originally worked at different locations.

Cintia had already heard Attila’s name many times before she really got to know him. Whenever Attila came to help out at the unit where Cintia worked, everyone looked forward to his arrival.

Their first truly memorable encounter, however, did not quite unfold the way you might expect the beginning of a romantic story to. Attila had been so generous with his perfume that it actually gave Cintia a headache.

A few hours later, however, they were already talking in a completely different mood, and then a Facebook friend request and a simple waving emoji started the conversation that would eventually lead to a life together.

And to complete the story: Cintia has since grown to love that very same perfume.

These are exactly the kinds of small, genuine details that I love to include in a personalised wedding ceremony.

They are the stories that make the couple exchange a knowing glance and the guests smile because they recognise in them the two people they know and love.

A Proposal That Even Required an Escape Room

The proposal took place on October 31, 2024, in an escape room in Szolnok.

At one point during the game, Cintia opened a door and an emerald-green velvet box fell out.

Even then, she had no idea what was happening and simply opened the box – and there was the ring.

When she turned around, Attila was already down on one knee.

The surprise worked so well that Cintia’s first reaction was not a classic romantic phrase, but something much more typical of them – a spontaneous: “You’re crazy!”

Of course, the yes soon followed – and with it, their journey towards their wedding in Balatonszőlős began.

A Personalised Wedding Ceremony at Nest Cottage

As a wedding celebrant, I believe a wedding ceremony becomes truly personal when it not only tells the story of the major milestones, but also reveals something about who the two people standing in front of each other really are.

Cintia and Attila’s story was full of humour, spontaneity and charming little details, so their ceremony had to reflect exactly that.

I did not want to tell a generic love story about them, but their own story.

One with room for an overly strong perfume, a waving emoji, a ring unexpectedly appearing in an escape room, laughter and, of course, emotional moments too.

All of this was made complete by the beautiful surroundings of Nest Cottage in Balatonszőlős on that exceptionally hot summer day.

Wedding Celebrant and Wedding Coordinator in One

At Cintia and Attila’s wedding, I was responsible not only for their personalised ceremony, but also for helping to manage the day as their wedding coordinator.

The two roles complement each other perfectly.

When the same professional is both the wedding celebrant and the coordinator, they not only know the story and structure of the ceremony in detail, but also have a complete overview of the timing of the entire wedding day, the responsibilities of the vendors, and all the small details that need to fall into place at exactly the right moment.

The couple also does not have to discuss the same details separately with several different people.

As a wedding celebrant, I know exactly what needs to happen and when during the ceremony, while as a coordinator, I can make sure that everything behind the scenes is ready for each moment.

This can make an enormous difference on the wedding day, when the couple no longer has to worry about the schedule, the vendors or what comes next, but can simply enjoy and experience their own wedding.

Hungarian-English Bilingual Wedding Celebrant and Coordination

As a wedding celebrant, I create a unique ceremony for every couple in Hungarian and English, as well as bilingual ceremonies where the two languages are seamlessly combined.

For me, a truly beautiful wedding ceremony can be both emotional and light-hearted.

There can be laughter, humour and spontaneity, while still preserving the emotional significance of the reason everyone has gathered together on that day.

Cintia and Attila’s wedding at Nest Cottage in Balatonszőlős was exactly like this.

A personal story, a beautiful wedding venue in the Balaton Uplands, plenty of emotion and humour – and a ceremony that was truly about them.

Thank you for your trust!

“Dear Tündi!

As far back as I can remember, I had never really been to a wedding, and even the weddings I attended as a child were definitely not the kind of wedding I imagined for ourselves.

So I was trying to find my way as a very lost bride.

I had an idea of what I wanted, which is why I contacted you about wedding coordination, and I am incredibly grateful that during our very first phone conversation you mentioned how much more personal a ceremony led by a wedding celebrant could be.

You were so convincing that, after giving it just a little thought, we decided to choose this option.

And it was absolutely the right decision.

That is how you became both our wedding coordinator and our wedding celebrant.

It was such a huge relief and reassurance to be able to discuss everything with you and to know exactly what would happen and when – not only for us, but for our guests as well.

The ceremony was wonderful and exceeded our expectations by far.

It was amazing how you managed to ease the overwhelming emotions at exactly the right moments by including funny memories that we had shared with you.

Thank you for helping and encouraging my sister, who had never spoken in front of so many people before and was trying to hold and read her prepared speech with trembling hands and tears in her eyes.

Thank you so much for making sure we did not have to worry about anything on our Big Day, because you had everything under control and guided everything throughout the day.

We will be forever grateful to you!

Thank you again for everything, and we wish you all the very best. ♥️”
