Wedding Coordination and Wedding Celebrant in Balatonszőlős – Cintia & Attila’s Wedding | Casa Christa

Wedding Coordination and Wedding Celebrant in Balatonszőlős – Cintia & Attila’s Wedding | Casa Christa

At Cintia and Attila’s wedding, I had the pleasure of being by their side not only as their wedding celebrant, but also as their wedding coordinator.

Their wedding in Balatonszőlős took place across two beautiful venues: we held their personalised ceremony at Nest Cottage, and afterwards, I walked together with the guests to Casa Christa, where the dinner and evening celebrations continued.

When a wedding takes place across multiple venues, it is especially important to have someone who not only knows the entire schedule, but also oversees the day from beginning to end, connects each part of the programme, and supports both the guests and the wedding vendors – while allowing the couple to simply feel that everything is running smoothly.

At Cintia and Attila’s wedding, that was my role.

When the Ceremony Ends, the Coordination Continues

After the ceremony at Nest Cottage, the wedding day was, of course, far from over.

Together with the guests, we walked over to Casa Christa, where the next part of the celebration was waiting for us.

As the wedding coordinator, I also make sure that the guests know where to go, what comes next, and that the transition from one venue to another runs smoothly.

These transitions are much more important on a wedding day than they might initially seem.

Guests should not have to wonder where they need to go, where they should wait, or when the next part of the programme will begin.

When everything is properly coordinated, the entire wedding day simply flows naturally from one moment to the next.

Dinner and Evening Programme at Casa Christa

The celebration continued at Casa Christa, where dinner was accompanied by speeches and special contributions from family members and guests.

As a wedding coordinator, my role during these moments is not simply to make sure that the next part of the programme begins at the scheduled time.

It is equally important that everyone giving a speech or taking part in the programme knows exactly when it is their turn and what they need to do.

Sometimes, a few reassuring words, a well-timed signal, or simply confirming that everything is ready can make a huge difference to someone who is about to stand up and speak in front of dozens of guests.

Meanwhile, coordination continues behind the scenes: when the next course should be served, when the best moment for a speech will be, whether everything is ready for the next part of the programme, and whether the original timeline needs to be adjusted by a few minutes.

Good wedding coordination does not mean following a written schedule down to the exact minute at all costs.

It is much more about being aware of what is happening at the wedding in that moment and adjusting accordingly, while keeping the rhythm of the day flowing smoothly.

What Does a Wedding Coordinator Actually Do?

A significant part of a wedding coordinator’s work is almost invisible to the guests.

But behind the scenes, I am constantly paying attention.

I coordinate with the venue and the wedding vendors, keep track of the timeline, give cues for the next parts of the programme, support family members and friends who are giving speeches, guide the guests when necessary, and manage the small changes that occur at almost every wedding.

If something is running a few minutes late, if someone needs to be found, if a vendor needs information, or if something still needs to be prepared before the next part of the programme, I take care of it instead of the couple having to deal with it themselves.

Because on their wedding day, Cintia and Attila had only one truly important task: to be present at their own wedding and enjoy everything they had spent months preparing for.

Wedding Celebrant and Coordinator in One – How Does It Work in Practice?

Cintia and Attila’s wedding is a perfect example of the advantages of having the same person as both wedding celebrant and wedding coordinator.

Even before the ceremony, I already know the couple’s wishes, the schedule for the day and, of course, every detail of the ceremony itself.

I do not arrive on the wedding day as an unfamiliar vendor, but as someone the couple has already spoken with several times and who knows exactly what matters to them.

As their wedding celebrant, I guide them through one of the most important and emotional parts of their day, and once the ceremony is over, I simply return to my role as their wedding coordinator.

In Cintia and Attila’s case, once the ceremony at Nest Cottage had finished, I continued with them and their guests to Casa Christa.

There was no need to hand the event over to another coordinator or explain again where we were in the schedule.

I already knew exactly what had happened and what needed to happen next.

This continuity can provide reassurance not only for the couple, but also for their guests and wedding vendors.

Two Venues, Yet One Seamless Wedding Day

Nest Cottage and Casa Christa were two separate venues, but for Cintia and Attila, of course, they were all part of one wedding day.

As their wedding coordinator, my role was to make sure that the different venues, vendors and parts of the programme did not feel like separate events, but flowed naturally from one moment into the next.

From their personal ceremony and the walk together to Casa Christa, through dinner and the evening programme, I stayed with them and continued coordinating every part of their day.

For me, this is what wedding coordination is all about: being there when I am needed, thinking ahead, bringing together everything that is happening behind the scenes, and taking that responsibility off the couple’s shoulders.

Because when a wedding is well coordinated, the couple should not have to notice how much is happening in the background.

Quite the opposite.

They should feel that they have time for each other, for their family and friends, and for the day that has been created to celebrate them.

At Cintia and Attila’s wedding in Balatonszőlős, it was especially wonderful to accompany them throughout the day in both of my roles: as their wedding celebrant, telling their story, and as their wedding coordinator, making sure that the story of their wedding continued to unfold smoothly after the ceremony.

Thank you for your trust!

“Dear Tündi!

As far back as I can remember, I had never really been to a wedding, and even the weddings I attended as a child were definitely not the kind of wedding I imagined for ourselves.

So I was trying to find my way as a very lost bride.

I had an idea of what I wanted, which is why I contacted you about wedding coordination, and I am incredibly grateful that during our very first phone conversation you mentioned how much more personal a ceremony led by a wedding celebrant could be.

You were so convincing that, after giving it just a little thought, we decided to choose this option.

And it was absolutely the right decision.

That is how you became both our wedding coordinator and our wedding celebrant.

It was such a huge relief and reassurance to be able to discuss everything with you and to know exactly what would happen and when – not only for us, but for our guests as well.

The ceremony was wonderful and exceeded our expectations by far.

It was amazing how you managed to ease the overwhelming emotions at exactly the right moments by including funny memories that we had shared with you.

Thank you for helping and encouraging my sister, who had never spoken in front of so many people before and was trying to hold and read her prepared speech with trembling hands and tears in her eyes.

Thank you so much for making sure we did not have to worry about anything on our Big Day, because you had everything under control and guided everything throughout the day.

We will be forever grateful to you!

Thank you again for everything, and we wish you all the very best. ♥️”
