I was delighted when a couple who are not Hungarian, who do not live in Hungary, contacted me to perform their vow-confirmation ceremony, and yet they found me.
Vow Confirmation Ceremony in Budapest
Jay and Chris spent a week in Budapest at the Aquaword Hotel with their little girl and grandmother.
Jay contacted me before their holiday and asked for my help to conduct the vow renewal ceremony in English.
10th wedding anniversary
I was delighted to be asked and it was exciting to prepare for the vow-confirmation ceremony knowing that Jay trusted me and that her husband Chirs had no idea of the surprise.
When we met in person before the ceremony, I was very happy because I could see the anticipation and joy.
According to Jay, she and her husband try to focus on themselves and their family, and that's why they celebrated being married for 10 years in this way, even though I was in a foreign country on their anniversary.
Surprise
The surprise was very well done, and it was a really intimate personal ceremony to recall their best moments and reaffirm their togetherness.
I am delighted that I was there and honoured to have been asked to do this beautiful job.
