Hungarian-English wedding ceremony of Zsófi and Jonathan | Lóvasút Event Centre

Hungarian-English wedding ceremony of Zsófi and Jonathan | Lóvasút Event Centre

The cinematic story of Sophie and Jonathan is a good example of the peculiarity of international weddings, where love is often forged and then married between people at opposite ends of the world.

    Meeting in a Lebanese restaurant

They first met in their final year of university at a restaurant in Lebanon over a dinner with friends.

Although they enjoyed each other's company, they never thought they would meet again.
But their paths crossed again in the university library.

Initially neither of them wanted a relationship, as they were in their final year of university and from two different countries, but they eventually realised they really liked each other

    Moving to Singapore

To be together, Zsófi moved to Singapore and they lived there for 2 years.

Long distance connection for 5 years

Zsófi then moved back to London to study, so they continued their long-distance relationship.

The long distance relationship lasted 5 years and was at times very difficult due to the time difference, busy schedule and the unexpected epidemic situation.

However, they both committed to each other and to make the relationship work they met as much as they could.

    Wedding in Hungary

The story of Sophie and Jonathan shows that when two people truly love each other, nothing can stand in their way.

When they contacted me and I got to know them and their story, I was delighted that they chose me to officiate their wedding.

I love the atmosphere of international weddings.

It is nice to see people of different nationalities happily celebrating together, cultures meeting and complementing each other.

    Hungarian-English wedding ceremony

    I love bilingual wedding ceremonies.

It's a nice challenge to be able to do this while still maintaining the dynamics of the ceremony and giving foreign guests the full experience of the wedding ceremony.

Zsófi and Zsófi's wedding was held at the Lóvasút Event Centre, and the wedding ceremony was held on the terrace of the venue.

The wedding ceremony of Zsófi and Jonahthan, the kindness of the guests, the meeting of the cutlures was a fantastic experience for me as well.

    Thank you for your trust!

    "Dear Tünde!

Thank you both very much for your work!

It was a beautiful and touching ceremony and many of the guests cried (and so did we).

Several people said afterwards that they really liked how it was to the point but also elegant and emotional.

And that was really the balance we wanted and you found it one in one.

It was really fun to work with you and you completely tailored the ceremony to our vision.

We would like to thank you for being so flexible and adaptable on the big day.

Both the English and Hungarian guests enjoyed the ceremony very much and the translation did not break the beauty and rhythm of the speech, all
everything remained smooth.  We are very grateful to you!"
