The role of the wedding celebrant
For me, as a wedding officiant, my role is more than just adhering to wedding protocol; my job is to help creatively plan and execute the perfect wedding ceremony the couple has dreamed of on their big day. The primary goal is to make the event personal and memorable for both the couple and their guests.
Building sympathy and trust between the couple and the officiant is essential in order to work effectively together throughout the planning and execution process. Only then will it be possible to understand the couple's needs and desires, and to create a unique style and feel for their wedding.
As a wedding officiant, I am not only present during the ceremony, but also assist the couple throughout the entire process. This includes being involved in the preparations, advising and sharing ideas about the process and content of the wedding ceremony, as well as giving practical advice on how to make the wedding day run smoothly.
Wedding ceremony in sneakers
Ági and Gergő's wedding ceremony was very nice and special.
Ági chose a white summer dress for the occasion instead of the usual wedding dresses, which perfectly suited her personality.
Together with Gergő, they both wore sneakers, which were not only comfortable for them, but the casual style also expressed the unique atmosphere of their wedding.
First date and wedding ceremony at Café Ponyvaregény
The venue for their wedding was Café Ponyvaregény on the Kopaszi dam, where I have held wedding ceremonies several times.
The wedding ceremony was light and fun with a stylish elegance, so we smiled a lot during the ceremony.

The role of the witnesses was further enhanced during the ceremony by the signing of a joint picture I took of the couple and them in the guest book and of course the opportunity for the first toast.
This made the wedding ceremony effortless yet elegant, where not only the couple but also the guests had a great time throughout, experiencing both the beautiful and smile-inducing moments with the couple.
It was a pleasure to meet Agi and Gergko and to have the dream ceremony of an exceptionally lovely young couple. :-)
