Vivien and Sam's bilingual wedding ceremony | S.O.S You need a S.O.S wedding ceremony leader

Vivien and Sam met thanks to a dear friend who thought they two would get together and organised a programme where they were both present, and he was not wrong, because by the end of the Carnival in Cologne the next day theywere getting closer and closer...

Vivien called me two days before their wedding ceremony on Thursday, worried that I would be able to perform their bilingual ceremony, as the person who had been asked to do it earlier was unable to attend.

Although I was very happy to have my Saturday off, which is rare for me during the wedding season, I accepted Vivien's last minute request, felt good about helping them and got to work straight away.

The wedding ceremony took place in a very good atmosphere. This was also thanks to the guests, as the groom was of Indian origin, so half of the guests were from other cultures, which always makes bilingual ceremonies special. The fantastic facilities of the venue also contributed to a wonderful event, the Hilltop Borhotel has a special atmosphere that I really like.

The most special thing about the wedding ceremony was the weather :-)

Even before the ceremony started, I could see dark grey clouds gathering. Before the ceremony started, I asked the helpers to bring an umbrella or two to the ceremony site, because if it started to rain, it would be nice for the couple and me to be able to secure it.

And sure enough, a light summer shower arrived in the middle of the ceremony, so umbrellas were needed.

But believe me, the little rain made the event even more special and not unpleasant at all. Fortunately, of course, it was short-lived. :-)

As the wedding ceremony leader, I try to reassure couples on the big day, full of excitement, and advise them not to worry about anything on the big day, that everything will be just as it should be, and to try to enjoy these special moments.

Vivien and Sam's wedding is proof that you don't even have to worry about the rain ;-)
