Gabi and Phil had known each other for 10 years when they decided to get married.
Although they live in Thames Ditton in the UK, they chose Budapest as their wedding venue and the fantastic Brody Studio as their venue, with me as their wedding ceremony leader. :-)
Because there were so many foreign guests, and of course because the groom, Phil, was English, their wedding ceremony was conducted in Hungarian and English.
They also chose Hungary as the venue for their engagement.
The proposal took place on 23 December 2017, on a cold winter's day, when they were walking on Margaret Island, and Gabi says that this intimate moment made her forget how cold she was. :-)
Not only was the venue fabulous, but Gabi and Phil's personalities were delightful, so I feel very lucky to have been asked to perform their wedding ceremony.
I smile as I remember the moment I arrived at the venue and to my utter surprise I was greeted by two "groomsmen", as Phil has a deceptively similar twin brother. :-) Of course, we quickly clarified who would be the best man and who the groom at the big event.
It was a wonderful ceremony, as the many beautiful pictures testify.
