    Dia and Gergő’s bilingual Hungarian-English wedding ceremony | Teleki-Tisza Castle | Nagykovácsi

    Dia and Gergő’s bilingual Hungarian-English wedding ceremony | Teleki-Tisza Castle | Nagykovácsi

Dia and Gergő first met in 2010 and became a couple in 2013.

    Proposal in New York

The proposal took place in New York in 2019. Dia had always dreamed of visiting New York, as she had been captivated by the Big Apple for years. Gergő knew this perfectly well, so there was no question that he would propose there. In March 2019, this dream finally came true.

Dia and Gergő are among the couples whose wedding had to be postponed by a year, but we were all the more excited to prepare for it this time.

    Bilingual Wedding Ceremony

Originally, Dia and Gergő had planned a Hungarian-language ceremony. However, since several of their guests were from abroad, during our planning discussions they asked me to conduct their wedding ceremony in both Hungarian and English.

Their wedding venue was the Teleki-Tisza Castle in Nagykovácsi, a place that holds personal significance for me, as my partner and I also celebrated our own wedding there years ago. ????

I was very excited to experience being on the “other side” this time and to conduct Dia and Gergő’s ceremony at the same beautiful location.

We were blessed with wonderful weather, which meant nothing stood in the way of holding a truly personal outdoor ceremony.

The beautiful courtyard of the Nagykovácsi Castle, part of the Buda Landscape Protection Area, provided the perfect setting for the occasion.

I’m so happy that Dia and Gergő chose me as their ceremony officiant—I got to meet such a fantastic couple!

I am very grateful for their trust, and I wish them all the happiness in the world!

    Here’s Dia’s kind testimonial:

*"I found Tünde online by chance, so I thought I’d request a quote, as we needed to move forward with wedding planning. After our Skype video call, I didn’t even think for a second to ask for a quote from anyone else.

Tünde was not only friendly and kind but also extremely helpful and thorough. She explained in such detail how a ceremony with her would go that we could almost see it unfold in front of our eyes.

We had to postpone our wedding from last year to this year due to the virus, but she handled this minor setback professionally and seamlessly. Before the ceremony, she even came to me to finalize a few small details, which I really appreciated.

Our bilingual ceremony went exactly as we had discussed.

Tünde delivered a beautiful ceremony that left almost everyone in tears. She maintained eye contact with us, her tone was like she was telling a story—our story—and she knew exactly when to look at each parent during their greeting.

I can only recommend Tünde to couples who want a truly heartfelt, emotional ceremony that is entirely about you."*
